This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working, 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

About the role
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for making an impact?
As a prominent spokesperson for the Which? brand, you will represent the organisation in national media and at high-profile events. This role is key to building and maintaining strong relationships with external media producers, swiftly identifying opportunities to amplify key priority issues across broadcast channels, and responding quickly to emerging and reactive issues.
You will be adept at communicating complex topics with speed and authority to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and impact. You will also demonstrate exceptional communication skills, creativity and innovation in producing engaging content that resonates with various audiences. For example, feeling equally comfortable hosting personal finance member events as you are at creating compelling TikTok videos that reach millions.
You'll work in a fast-paced environment, creating timely and engaging video content for Which?'s owned and earned channels. Additionally, you'll host events and present content across a variety of internal and external platforms, including video and audio formats.
A proactive approach, and the ability to manage shifting priorities with ease and confidence is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
Media Representation: Act as the spokesperson for Which?, delivering expert commentary and participating in live and pre-recorded interviews across TV, radio, and digital platforms.
Content Creation: Produce timely, high-quality video and audio content for Which?'s channels, collaborating with internal teams to ensure brand consistency.
Event Hosting: Represent Which? at high-profile events, hosting panels, Q&As, and engaging with stakeholders, including members and industry leaders.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with media producers, journalists, and key stakeholders to maximize broadcast opportunities on priority topics.
Crisis Communication: Respond swiftly and professionally to emerging consumer issues, upholding Which?'s values of impartiality and trustworthiness in all public engagements.
About you:
Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a confident, approachable on-screen presence.
Media Savviness: Strong experience in live and pre-recorded media settings, with the ability to adapt to various formats and platforms.
Content Creation Expertise: Proficiency in producing polished and engaging video and audio content for digital and social channels.
Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and nurture professional relationships with media contacts and external stakeholders.
Proactive & Resilient: A self-starter with excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
