This role (FTC 12 months)  offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London office 5- 8 days a month minimum, team office days are Tuesdays and first Thursday of the month), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

Salary £27,300 - £29,400 per annum

About the role

It's vital that Which? tests the products that matter most to consumers. In this role, you'll play a key part in making that happen. You'll be selecting products for review based on your high quality research on consumer products and the companies operating in them, while working to hard deadlines.

Key responsibilities include: 

There's a lot riding on getting the choice of products spot on, so the research in this specialist role involves

  • Delivering your absolutely accurate final product selections to hard deadlines as other roles will build on your output as part of their core work.
  • Defining and applying criteria for including and excluding specific products, so that the choice fits the consumer audience Which? wants to reach which is at the heart of our commercial success.
  • Monitoring product categories and recording accurate information about product launches and market trends from robust sources. 
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with leading companies, acting as the face of Which at external meetings.
  • Working collaboratively and flexibly across the wider department and with international partner organisations to get the very best content involving your work.
  • As you gain expertise in your areas, you'll also be able to apply your judgement and analysis to scope our wider coverage as well as spotting potential new content opportunities for both print and online

About you:

  • You're able to organise and prioritise work to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced publishing environment.  
  • You'll have an appreciation of how you could use your research experience in this role – whether it's from past work or study. You'll be good at tracking down information and taking a critical look at sources and data. 
  • You'll be able to routinely deliver work with high standards of accuracy and are comfortable using Excel. 
  • You can build great working relationships with colleagues and maintain business relationships with external companies.   
  • You'll be able to spot issues and opportunities and act on them with the wider team.

The interview process for this role involves:-

A 60 min interview. We plan to interview the week commencing October 20th.
