Humble beginnings

The Video and Audio team was born in 2008, and was a team of just one videographer. One became two shortly after, and four by 2017, but it wasn’t until 2018 that we welcomed our own presenters into the team. Now we’re a multi-skilled team of videographers, presenter / producers and audio specialists. We also have an apprentice, who joined us in July 2023. 

Podcast pioneers

Which? began podcasting way back in the mid 00s with money, tech and cars podcasts. The content you’ll recognise today, however, was conceived in 2019 when we launched the Which? Money Podcast.

We’ve released 258 episodes since then, and these days they focus on one main subject, and usually centre around saving, investing, tax and retirement. 

Action shoots

In March 2020, the team went to film in Tenerife, only to be left stranded on the runway at Heathrow when the plane was discovered to be harbouring covid particles from some of the very first UK cases.

In 2019, members of the team got stranded in the Midlands due to floods on the way to film in Harlech for our Access to Cash campaign.

And - perhaps most dramatic of all - in 2019 (again!) one unlucky member of the team got stuck in a brand new test car that was being driven for a ‘first look’ video with the cars team in a remote forest in Portugal. Luckily they were swiftly located and rescued!
