Learn more about working in Commercial (within Legal Services) and why Which? is a great place to work and progress your career.
I am a solicitor providing members with advice on general consumer disputes, specialising in property disputes including residential long leasehold, landlord & tenant and neighbour issues.
I am a qualified solicitor with over 13 years post-qualification experience in dealing with dispute resolution and civil litigation, having previously worked as a partner in private practice. I was also a trustee of a children’s charity for a number of years.
I was looking for a new opportunity in which to harness my skills, knowledge and experience in an environment other than private practice. The role at Which?, a regulated charity, provided me with a perfect opportunity to do so, whilst embracing its core values and consumer focus.
I pride myself on harnessing my skills, knowledge and experience to quickly identify the issues, provide clear and comprehensive advice, whilst focussing on guiding members to achieve the best outcomes for them.
The legal advice team at Which? is made up of extremely experienced lawyers with a depth of specialist knowledge and the level of legal advice provided to members far outweighs the price tag!
There are few other organisations like ours. We have a set of values embedded in the organisation, and you see people from entry-level to leadership living and working by them. Of course, it's by no means perfect; nothing is, but out of all the places I've ever worked, Which? It is the most satisfying and rewarding as you know you're contributing to a real difference for the general public.
