This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London office, Tuesdays and some Thursdays in the office), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

Salary £35,000 – £38,000 per annum

About the role

To provide analytical support and advice to colleagues in Content and other departments with specific responsibility for identifying, designing, and implementing analytical and automation solutions, whilst supporting the Consumer Content Research & Data team delivering their research needs

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Champion the proper use of analytical techniques, automation and data visualisations for the benefit of the organisation
  • Work closely with Consumer Researchers to design research, process data and apply analytical techniques to provide value to the outputs and deliver efficiencies  
  • Manage and take ownership of quantitative projects, ensuring results are meaningful and communicated effectively within agreed time and cost limits
  • Design scalable automated data collection pipelines and processing of large-scale online data to support organisational needs (i.e., web scraping)
  • Deliver, support and check the analytical outputs of the Content team - and in some cases of other teams - to ensure that they are accurate and robust

About you:

  • Experience working in research and with research data.
  • Degree with appropriate research / analytical experience (such as exploratory data analysis, quantitative research methods, or equivalent) or equivalent experience
  • Analytical software experience (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or equivalent)
  • Experience of automated data collection from websites (e.g., webscraping)
  • Experience of using survey scripting software, such as Qualtrics or equivalent

The interview process for this role involves:-

  • Analytical/ programming task to deliver ahead of the interview (this will be send approx 3 days before by the hiring manager). Please be prepared to talk about the task for 15 minutes during the interview.
  • Initial one hour and 15 minute interview via MS Teams
  • If there is a tie break situation, we may conduct a follow-up interview

Interviews are expected to commence from Monday 24th August.
