This telephone based role offers a competitive salary, with hybrid working with 1 just day (usually a Wednesday), in the Cardiff office, 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

Salary £23,000 - £25,000 per annum and potential for up to 30% annual bonus

About the role

As an applications adviser, you will be the first point of contact talking to businesses who have logged their interest in becoming a Which? Trusted Trader. You will have good organisational skills, enabling you to manage your pipeline to call traders and discuss their business needs, while sharing the features and benefits of the scheme and explaining the process for joining. Ideally you will be well versed in how to align the benefits of a product with the genuine needs of the target audience,  and naturally conclude the telephone call with a sale.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous telephone role experience
  • Ability to manage a busy administrative and pipeline workload
  • Consistent ability to meet set personal and departmental targets

About you:

To be successful in this role, you should have previous sales experience, in a predominantly telephone  based role. You should enjoy talking with people, with a natural curious approach to really identify the customer's needs, and align product knowledge with their needs. Additionally, you should be a great team player, comfortable sharing your knowledge and taking feedback, to help drive team success. 

The interview process for this role involves:-

  • An interview up to 90 minutes, consisting of the below format
    • Competency based interview questions approx 60 minutes
    • Role play approx 30 minutes
