This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London/Hybrid with minimum of 1 day per week in the office, Thursdays mandatory), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

About the role

Are you ready to shape digital experiences that help millions of people make confident decisions? Which? is the UK's consumer champion, and we're looking for a Senior Product Designer to guide high-quality design work within our product teams.

You'll take ownership of complex design challenges, working alongside Product Managers, Engineers and Researchers to create solutions that truly work for users. From discovery through to delivery, you'll help shape products that make life simpler, fairer and safer for everyone.

What kind of problems will you solve? You'll work across the full product lifecycle, bringing clarity to complex user journeys and ensuring our digital experiences are usable, inclusive and aligned with what people need. Could you see yourself helping to build trusted relationships across teams and sharing your skills to support others?

Key responsibilities include:

  • Guide product and service design within a squad, creating clear and usable solutions that meet user needs and product goals
  • Work together with Product Managers and Engineers to shape problems and design effective digital experiences
  • Use research insights and data to inform your design decisions and help shape product direction
  • Communicate your design thinking clearly, showing trade-offs and expected outcomes to stakeholders
  • Support design quality across teams by sharing knowledge and helping less experienced designers grow

About you

  • You have strong skills in user interface design, interaction design 
  • You are confident in service design and mapping end to end journeys 
  • You can use prototyping to explore ideas, test concepts and communicate solutions
  • You are skilled in utilising current AI powered tools throughout your workflow
  • You understand accessibility and inclusive design principles and how to apply them in practice
  • You're comfortable working with complexity and can balance quality design with pace of delivery

The interview process for this role involves:-

  • 45 mins video Interview via MS Teams with Head of Head Of Product Design and User Research
  • 90 mins video Interview via MS Teams with Product Design Colleagues (30 mins on a case study with Q&A, then 30 mins competency questions, then 30 mins general Q&A plus candidates questions.
