This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working, 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and 11% pension after one year of service.

Location: London/Hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Salary £28,500 - £32,500 per annum

About the role

As a Campaigns Officer you will lead cross-organisational delivery teams to execute high profile campaigns that achieve substantial changes for consumers. The team sits alongside the Public Affairs and External Affairs teams to influence and engage our target audiences - politicians, officials, and businesses. You will work very closely with colleagues in our policy, communications, supporters, content, and legal teams to deliver our campaign goals.

In the last year alone, our campaigning successes have included:

  • Changing the law to better protect victims of bank transfer fraud.
  • Securing commitment from the Government to help consumers better understand food prices and action from a major supermarket to provide more budget ranges in their small stores.
  • Legislation to require major online platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google, to remove harmful content, including scams and fraud, from their websites.
  • Requirements on banks to ensure a minimum level of cash withdrawal services that are free to access.

Key responsibilities 

  • Lead cross-organisational delivery teams to plan, coordinate and execute campaigns activity 
  • Produce campaign activity plans including pitching ideas
  • Ensure processes and plans are in place to monitor and evaluate campaigns.
  • Monitor external and political developments and horizon scan for future opportunities on specific campaign issue areas.
  • Identify and build networks of contacts across Whitehall, Parliament and other bodies to support campaign objectives.
  • Facilitate and attend meetings with stakeholders and brief senior management for engagement with high-level stakeholders across relevant issue areas. 
  • Ensure regular monitoring and evaluation plans for our campaigns are implemented.

About you:  

We're looking for someone with experience and passion for making change, with a keen interest in policy and politics. You will have experience of working with different teams in an organisation, demonstrate good project management skills, and are a strong communicator both written and verbal. 

Our Interview process is as follows:

  • 60 minute interview conducted via Google meet with competency and values-based questions and a role related task (short campaign exercise)
