This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London office on Thursdays + one other day), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

Salary £100,000 - £115,000 per annum

About the role

At a time of great opportunity for Which?, with a new 2030 vision and strategy, this is a critical role in ensuring our Product, Data & Technology function can deliver at pace for our customers.

This role will help shape the delivery of new experiences across big transformational growth areas and enable us to level-up our product offering to improve customer acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities include: 

As a senior member of the Product, Data & Technology Leadership team, this role will be critical in representing design and UX at the leadership team level, and influencing key stakeholders, as well as where needed being hands-on in shaping the product experience and organisational objectives.

About you:

  • Experience leading a modern product design and user research team, or demonstrable management experience in these areas
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methods, including application of formative and evaluative research methodologies to inform design decisions
  • An excellent portfolio demonstrating experience across the full product life-cycle – including early concepts & prototypes through to  production-ready designs, across multiple devices. Examples should also include editorial based experiences and/or service led products.
  • Ability to challenge and hold peers and stakeholders to account
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity while continuing to drive progress
  • Results-oriented and will look at challenges innovatively to achieve our commercial objectives

The interview process for this role involves:-

  • First interview - c.45 minute conversation
  • Candidates who pass the first stage will have a second interview with the Chief Product, Data and Technology Officer and two other senior stakeholders. At this interview there will be a presentation.
  • There will be a reverse interview with the team.
