This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (Team office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme.

About the role
Do you have a desire to develop your research and writing skills, and a wish to make a difference in consumers' lives?
We are looking for a Researcher/Writer to join our investigative research team specialising in the area of money.
Key responsibilities include:
As a Researcher/Writer you will investigate the money issues that really matter to consumers from the increase in the number of financial scams and rapidly rising car insurance premiums, to outlining the things that people need to consider when putting their money into pensions and investments.
You'll be expected to deliver investigative research and content with an increasing focus on website as well as magazine content, and support for our hard-hitting campaigns. You'll have a real curiosity and enthusiasm for financial services topics and will use it to bring content ideas that really suit our readers and also attract new audiences
We'll want you to use a range of investigative methods to research, and uncover key issues facing consumers as they make decisions about their money. You'll use your ability for turning your findings into clear and engaging copy across both print and online.
The quality of your investigative research and analysis will play a vital role in upholding our well-deserved reputation for fairness, thoroughness and reliability. This is primarily a desk-based role, but you will be required to use your networking skills to build external relationships with key contacts, and your varied approaches to investigative research may take you out-and-about to experience issues through the eyes of the consumer.
