This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London office 1-2 days per week pro rata), 28 days holiday (pro rata'd for part time and FTC employees) a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this.

Salary £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (based on FTE)

This is a 28 hours a week part-time fixed-term role for 12 months starting on 1 July. There may be potential in the future for the role to be extended or become permanent, depending on your performance and suitability, as well as the business needs.

About the role

We're searching for an outstanding, digitally-minded content writer, to research, write and optimise content about health and wellbeing products and services for Which.co.uk

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Writing informative, accurate and trustworthy content on health topics spanning buying guides, reviews and news. 
  • Ensuring digital content provides a great user experience that is optimised for SEO and relevant onward consumer journeys.
  • Monitoring the performance of digital content and audience trends, and pitching new content ideas and improvements to existing content accordingly.
  • Overseeing a continual stream of high quality content that provides an excellent experience to our audience, including testing new content types as required, such as columnists.
  • Collaborating and sharing topic and content expertise with the wider team to help support and inform the overall health & wellbeing content strategy.
  • Ensuring our health and wellbeing content performance trackers are kept up to date.
  • Running our news content calendar to ensure the health and wellbeing team is producing the best news at the right time to have the most impact. 

About you:

We're looking for someone who can get excited about helping consumers make decisions about health choices to get the best product, service or treatment for their needs. 

  • Proven track record of writing high quality, high reach health & wellbeing content for consumer audiences across digital channels.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent insight into consumer health needs and desires, driven by a strong understanding of SEO, market intelligence, digital content and working with and from data.
  • Confident working knowledge of using CMS, analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and SEO tools such as SEMRush or similar.
