This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London and Thursdays office days + event days), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one.

This is Fixed term (duration: Aug 2025 - 2nd October 2026)

Salary £32,000 - £34,000 per annum

 About the role

As a Senior Events Officer, you will be part of a compact yet passionate events team. Your responsibilities will include planning, managing, and executing specific events, including internal events, the Annual General Meeting and audience acquisition events, as well as providing support to the broader team on corporate projects under the guidance of the Head of Events. 

This role also entails venue management of our in-house events space, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure their needs are met. Your goal is to deliver events that showcase Which?'s work as the UK's consumer champion. You should be confident in collaborating with stakeholders both within and outside the organisation to orchestrate events that captivate our core audiences

Key responsibilities include: 

  • End-to-end project management, leading on specific events for internal and external stakeholders etc, to promote Which?'s products and services.
  • Develop event plans across core business areas, identifying key stakeholders, and outlining clear performance indicators
  • Work closely with the Corporate Governance team to deliver the Annual General Meeting 
  • Work closely with the Internal Comms team to deliver engaging internal events against set objectives, feeding into how this programme can be continually improved.
  • To be a proactive member of a busy events team, aiding the delivery of all corporate flagship events and providing support where needed.
  • Knowledge of AV, technical troubleshooting and a hybrid event platform

About you:

You are a proactive, confident, and strategic events professional looking to join a team that will aid your ambitious career goals. You are a people person, great at collaborating, stakeholder management, attention to detail and adaptability. As well as:

  • Confident in building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including but not limited to, the Leadership Team, the CEO, as well as Board and Council members
  • Experienced in producing accurate event plans, timelines and briefing documents
  • Strong skills in budget management and evaluation plans
  • Confident in delivering hybrid events, with great knowledge of virtual event platforms
  • Delivery-focused with excellent planning and organisational skills to work at pace

The interview process for this role involves:-

  • 5-10 min screening call
  • 1 hour TEAMS interview with the Head of Events and the current Senior Events Officer (1 x task pre-interview)
